Pre-Thanksgiving treats 


Before we all have our major workout in the kitchen tomorrow, we should all treat ourselves to a nice, relaxing pre-thanksgiving meal at home (with KD and Steph in high definition, of course…. and the current issue of #WineSpectator)! Aahh! Love it! Whipped up this simple meal — “Broiled Salmon with Scallions and Honey” and “Warm Cauliflower with Herb Barley” (must add this recipe to my picnic list, definitely!).  But the Carlisle Mourvèdre Bedrock Vineyard 2009 ….. to.die.for!! This absolutely scrumptious wine is not to be missed. Black, silky with a hauntingly masculine, earthy, minerally aroma. The flavors all suggest wildness—wild blackberries, brambles with a exotic touch of spices.  Delish!! Happy Holidays, my friends!!  We all have so much to be thankful for in life …. and at this very moment, #CarlisleWinery and #MikeOfficer, your on top of the list!! What’s your pre-turkey plans?!
