Pre-birthday celebration with my BBF – Jenny (well, I call her Jenny-Pooh, cause she is so cuddly)!
Perbacco…just the mere mention of this restaurant gives me a warm feeling and makes me dream of the heavenly Italian food and celestial pastas with slow cooked sauces in this upscale, yet casual setting. Our Salumi Misti (selection of Piemontese inspired house cured salumi), handcut tagliatelle with pork sugo and porcini mushrooms, and porcini crusted Alaskan halibut went very well with our Martinelli “Jackass Vineyard” Russian River Zinfandel 2004! Special thanks to our server, Sean, who was so attentive! Jenny and I talked all night (as we watched the tables ‘turn..and turn.. and turn..) and we did not feel rushed at all! Thanks Jenny for another memorable night out!
